Welcome to the blog of the Revista Catalana d'Ornitologia (Catalan Journal of Ornithology; formerly Butlletí del Grup Català d'Anellament). This is the annual peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Institut Català d'Ornitologia (Catalan Institute of Ornithology; ICO) from 1995, publishing papers about bird biology in English, Catalan and Spanish; with a growing preference for English.
This blog aims to be a diffusion channel on the relevance of all the papers published in the Revista Catalana d'Ornitologia; fasting and improving the spread of the interesting ideas authors publish in the journal. The blog is intended to be attractive for the scientific community as well as to amateur ornithologists and the general public. On doing so, it combines journalist teasers of papers with full abstracts and the link (when eventually availabe) to the published pdf. New posts will be published as soon as the papers will be finally accepted for publication.
Currently, this is the team behind the Revista Catalana d'Ornitologia.
